May 12 – May 26 Allied Arts Oconee Art Exhibit and Contest

Our Oconee Artists Exhibit and Contest is returning to Milledgeville! Artists from Central Georgia may enter.  Please visit this link to view rules and to enter the contest for displaying your work.

All entries must be original works, and will be judged by impartial professional jurors. Previous entries may not be re-entered. There are 6 categories, an artist may enter 3 pieces total:

• Drawing
• Mixed Media
• Painting
• Photography
• Printmaking
• Sculpture

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

• $500 first place
• $250 second place
• $125 third place

The top entries in each category can be awarded a Certificate of Merit. Award announcements will be made by email, on social media and on Allied Arts' website.

There is a $35 non refundable entry fee per artist. Delivery of art must be from May 2 - 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Allied Arts, 201 North Wayne Street, Milledgeville Georgia, 31061. Art must be picked up from May 30 - June 1 between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Marlor House Art Center will be open M – Th from 10 – 2 p.m. throughout the exhibit, and Saturdays May 13 and 20 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. $10 donation is suggested for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 children when visiting the gallery.
