Experience an evening of exceptional jazz with the Haydon/Parker Duo on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 7–9 PM at Allen’s Market (101 Floyd L Griffin Jr St.). This free, public performance showcases the unique combination of piano and vibraphone, exploring both forgotten traditional and contemporary jazz standards through innovative arrangements and rich musical textures.

Formed by Geoff Haydon (piano) and Don N. Parker (vibraphone), the duo has performed at universities and jazz festivals across the U.S., including the Austin Jazz Festival and Columbia Basin College Jazz Unlimited Festival. Their recordings, My Foolish Heart and Reunion, have received critical acclaim for their inventive approach to jazz, blending swing, bebop, Latin, fusion, and contemporary styles, sometimes with the addition of acoustic bass.
