About the event
In 1842, Edgar Allan Poe published "The Masque of the Red Death" and now, 183 years later, audiences are still captivated by its horror and suspenseful storytelling. And, while we are only 5 years removed from a global pandemic, the story of an unrelenting plague is a topic about which many of us can relate. Jason Markiewitz, an award-winning voice actor, adapted this story into a full-cast dramatization, casting voice actors with strong theatrical talent, hired a composer with hundreds of credits to his name, and crafted sound effects to immerse the audience into an inspired re-telling of this horrific tale. Please join us for a special premiere event and listening party, where "Masque of the Red Death" will be played for the first time in public, followed by a Q&A with the writer/director.
