Oconee Artist Exhibit 2024

Our Oconee Artists Exhibit and Contest is returning to Milledgeville for another year! Artists from Central Georgia may enter.  Please visit this link to view rules and to enter the contest for displaying your work.

All entries must be original works, produced within the last 3 years, and will be judged by impartial professional jurors. Previous entries may not be re-entered. There are 4 categories, an artist may enter 3 pieces total:

• Drawing
• Mixed Media
• Painting
• Sculpture/Pottery

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

• $350 first place
• $200 second place
• $100 third place

The top entries in each category can be awarded a Certificate of Merit Award. Announcements will be made by email or phone (if the winning artist can't make it to the reception), on social media, and on Allied Arts' website. This year's judges will be Matt Forrest of the GCSU Art Department and Sierra Bush, curator for the Macon Arts Alliance.

There is a $40 non refundable entry fee per artist. Delivery of art must be from April 29 - May 1, 2024 from 10 AM and 3 PM at Allied Arts, 201 North Wayne Street, Milledgeville Georgia, 31061. Art must be picked up from June 3 - 5, 2024 between the hours of 10 AM and 3 PM.

The Marlor House Art Center will be open M – F from 9 AM – 4 PM  throughout the exhibit.
