Alaskan Fiddle Poet Ken Waldman will perform as part of his two week-long residencies at Baldwin County fourth-graders. Waldman will spend his first week with Midway Hills Academy students, and his second week with Lakeview Academy students. The residencies will focus on literature, and the lessons will also involve music played by Waldman.
The performance on March 2 will include Waldman's own poetry and music compositions, as well as poems written by the students at Midway Hills Academy. There is no admission charge for this free family event. Parents are encouraged to bring children. Doors will open at 7:00.
